About the Trainer
Hi! My name is Jenna and I am the owner at Best Paw Forward Dog Training! I have a passion for helping dog owners find a happy, healthy, and cooperative relationship with their dogs! I have trained professionally for 5 years, and I have loved every minute of it! I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), a member of International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), an approved AKC STAR Puppy instructor, Canine Good Citizen (CGC, CGC-U, CGC-A) evaluator, AKC Trickdog Evaluator, AKC FITDOG level 1 instructor, and I am an approved judge for the AKC Temperament Test and Farm Dog Certified.

Sashimi Steals Pie, NAP NJP NFP TKI FITB CPE: CSL1-H, CSL1-R, CSL1-FSasha is a 10+ year old Great Pyrenees mix rescue! You won’t see her in class, as I have retired her from demos and day to day work, but you may still see her on social media! Sasha has titles in AKC agility, tricks, fitness, and CPE agility! She is a shining example of my work with reactive rescue dogs, and how they can grow to become stable, confident companions! She has beaten cancer three times, and she is still a vibrant wonderful dog! Her favorite activities include stealing food scraps her dad sneaks her, and laying on the couch while her dad plays video games!

Merlin XIII, NA NF ACT1 ACT1J DN CGC TKA BN-V FITS
Merlin is my 2 year old Border Collie. He is a working stockdog, and helps me out on the farm keeping the sheep in line every day! He excels most at bikejor & canicross, but he also competes in herding, dock diving, agility, tricks, obedience, rally and more! He is a goofball but a very diligent worker. He attends class occasionally to demo for higher level classes but mostly prefers to stay on the farm these days!
Location
Currently, my primary training location is out of the wonderful Willow Branch - Monticello location! We have a spacious training room with rubberized flooring, agility equipment, and much more!
